The scouting combine is over, and the initial free agency frenzy has passed. Draft boards are always in flux, but they’re a bit clearer now than they were a few weeks ago.

With the NFL draft set to begin one month from today, we surveyed 30 recent mock drafts to see what they are saying about which prospect the Giants might draft in the first round. The Giants own the fourth overall pick, although there is some speculation they might trade down.

Here are the four players who were the most popular picks for Big Blue, along with some excerpts.

“Really a no-brainer for the Giants after signing James Bradberry and Blake Martinez in free agency,” writes CBS Sports’ Chris Trapasso. “Get Daniel Jones a premier pass-protector.”

“Tristan Wirfs is the best offensive tackle in this draft class and should be a lock to the Giants, who have been trying to figure out their offensive line for a couple of years,” writes Sports Illustrated’s Corey Parson. “Wirfs is an athletic tackle who is good in pass protection.”

“After landing three defensive starters in free agency, the Giants can turn to right tackle with someone who can eventually take over for Nate Solder on the left side,” writes Sporting News’ Vinnie Iyer. “Becton (6-7, 364 pounds) has gotten more attention for his strong and powerful frame, and he has shown he can be smooth in his movements. He is willing to work hard to become as good in pass protection as he is overwhelming defenders when sealing the edge in the running game.”

“Massive and athletic are descriptors we don't often see used in the same sentence, but the Louisville left tackle is that guy,” NFL.com's Lance Zierlein writes.

ISAIAH SIMMONS, LB, CLEMSON (Appears in 4 mock drafts)

“Having spent big to retain defensive lineman Leonard Williams and reel in cornerback James Bradberry and linebacker Blake Martinez, general manager Dave Gettleman might be drawn to one of his beloved ‘hog mollies’ with this pick,” writes USA Today’s Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz. “As much as quarterback Daniel Jones and running back Saquon Barkley would benefit from such an addition along the offensive line, Simmons has a strong case as the most valuable option for Big Blue. Defenders with his versatility and range don't come around often, and he could prove to be the catalyst the Giants have been lacking.”

JEDRICK WILLS JR., OT, ALABAMA (Appears in 3 mock drafts)

Two of the three mock drafts that had the Giants landing Wills predicted Big Blue would trade down.

“Wills is going to be a mauler at the next level, and the Giants have to make Jones their No. 1 asset moving forward,” writes Fansided’s Brad Weiss, who had the Giants drafting Wills at No. 5. “If he continues to have to run for his life, it is only going to stunt his growth, and after picking him so early in 2019, they cannot afford to let that happen.”
