The 24-year-old leads all MLB rookies with his nine home runs, and also tied a franchise record for the most home runs hit by a player before May 1.
In addition, his 26 RBI finished as the third-highest total for a rookie prior to May 1 in MLB history, while his 18 extra-base hits are the most prior to May 1 in club history.
