It appears Dwight Howard is on his way to Brooklyn.

In a shocking reveal Wednesday morning, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that a trade involving Howard to the Nets is being finalized.

Charlotte is finalizing a deal to send Dwight Howard to the Brooklyn Nets for Timofey Mozgov, league sources tell ESPN. Nets will save $17M on deal in 2019-20 season, allowing them to create two max salary slots.

Last year, in his first and only season with the Charlotte Hornets, Howard averaged 12.5 rebounds and 16.6 points over 81 games.

Brooklyn will be Howard's fourth NBA team in four years.
