The Jets have ruled cornerback Trumaine Johnson out for the team's Week 5 matchup against the Denver Broncos.
Johnson suffered a quad injury during practice Thursday, and will be forced to the sidelines as New York searches for its second win of the season.
Head coach Todd Bowles would not go into detail about the severity of Johnson's injury, but did describe it as a "strain."
The team also ruled out wide receiver Charone Peake (hamstring) and tight end Neil Sterling (concussion).
Safety Marcus Maye is questionable with an ankle/foot injury.
