There's nothing funny about storm damage, and everyone on the Boomer & Gio crew has been affected by Tropical Storm Isaias – but still, they've managed to solider on with shows, even if Gio has to be at a friend's house where a tropical sound machine is helping him sleep.
The friend, not Gio, because Gio's buddy might be the only one (behind Tarzan) who actually can sleep to whatever noise was emanating from the house during Thursday's show.
"It brings me back to 1993, when I was down in Costa Rica on a photo safari with Canon looking for howler monkeys. This is what it sounded like outside the huts…I got no sleep," Boomer laughed.
"Imagine being like, 'oh man, I'm so tired, I have to go to bed,' and you put this on?" Gio joked, as the crew made wild animal sounds. "He brings a girl over or something, they have a nice night, and then he flips this on. 'What the hell is that? What's wrong with you?'"
