If you heard Boomer & Gio Show this morning (and if you didn’t, freshen up here), you know that there was no way to escape a conversation that started with Gio talking about Cameo, and ended with an expose on the human brain vis-à-vis Al Dukes’ bad decisions in Tampa that became Moment of the Day.
The crux of it all, though, is a former WFAN colleague and friend of Gio joining Cameo.
“We’ve talked a bunch about how much I enjoy Cameo. On Mother’s Day, I got a Cameo for my wife and mom, and they absolutely loved it – and we’ve talked about how we feel about joining, and how Boomer might be the only one who would make some money, as we like ourselves, but it’s really for bigger celebrities than me or Jerry or Al, so it didn’t feel right,” Gio said during Tuesday’s show.
Well, maybe not.
“I happened to see that our old friend Chris Carlin joined Cameo,” Gio continued. “$25 for a personalized message, and then $3.99 to chat with him, which is a feature I have never seen before.”
And then, when Jerry Recco asked what the chat feature entailed, well, that’s when things went downhill, as the Gregg Giannotti Impression Repertoire gained another victim.
“Chat to me seems like sex stuff, right?” Gio asked jocularly, before launching into his friend’s tone. “I’m not gonna put peanut butter on my nipples and have the dog lick it off, that’s disgusting! I’m keeping my shirt on, I’m sorry! I don’t know what type of fetish you have sicko! I thought I’d join this thing and just say ‘Pandemonium in Piscataway’ a couple times and make like $100 a week!”
That brought Eddie Scozzare and the voice ghost of WFAN past to the party, and then it got a little risqué for text to do it justice (Jerry’s words were ‘1-900’), so you’re just going to have to listen to the exchange by refreshing the page to listen to the audio embedded above, or clicking below for the entire segment!
