After a winning road trip, the New York Mets returned to Citi Field and began their homestand with a bitter, 2-1, 13-inning loss to San Francisco Monday night.
The Giants scored the go-ahead run with two outs in the 13th when Brandon Crawford's pop-up was knocked out of Amed Rosario's glove as Dominic Smith collided with him in shallow left field.
The Mets have played five games at home against San Francisco that went longer than 13 innings and all of them took place at Shea Stadium in the 1960's:
5/31/64 (G2) Giants 8 Mets 6 23 innings

The Mets set a franchise record for runs and hits as they beat the Phillies, 24-4, in the first game of Thursday's doubleheader at Citizens Bank Park.
Their 20-run margin of victory was also the largest in club history, topping the previous club record of 23 runs against the Cubs back on August 16th, 1987 at Wrigley Field.
Coupled with the 16 runs the previous night at Baltimore, the 40 runs were the most scored by the Mets in consecutive games in club history.

The Mets lost the opener of the two-game set with Baltimore, 6-3, at Camden Yards Tuesday night.

Happy Recap: Road-sario. Amed Rosario went 17-for-45 (.378) with 10 runs scored and 11 RBI's on the road trip.
