We have another first in this, what Al Dukes once called "the coronavirus-filled 2020 NFL season" – amended WFAN picks!
With Ravens-Steelers moved from Thanksgiving night to Sunday afternoon to Tuesday night (and maybe to be moved again) due to an outbreak in Baltimore's facility, there is danger that the WFAN Mornings crew could be a pick short, as they had made the AFC North showdown one of their Week 12 five.
So, on Monday morning, amidst the uncertainty, the crew decided to make an alternate selection on tonight's game between Seattle and Philadelphia, as noted below:
Seahawks at Eagles (+6.5)
Boomer: Seahawks
Gio: Eagles
Jerry: Eagles
Given that Gio had the Ravens while Boomer and Jerry and the Steelers (the pick was made at Steelers -5), this actually hurts Jerry's case to move up! Although, given that Gio was 2-2 in the first four picks while both Boomer and Jerry were 1-3, Mr. Recco is eight games back right now anyway:
Gio: 31-28 (2-2)
Boomer: 25-34 (1-3)
Jerry: 23-36 (1-3)
In case you were wondering, Al, who was 1-3 on his first four parlay picks, also picked the Seahawks, getting them at -5.5…so it's possible that he could win and Boomer could lose on the same pick if the final score has Seattle winning by six!
