BT: Feels like New York football seasons ended on Sunday

Brandon Tierney isn’t feeling too hopeful about New York football after Sunday’s games.

A Giants lopsided loss to the Lions coupled with another painful Jets loss at the hands of the Patriots has BT convinced that playoff hopes died for the two teams in Week 11.

“It just feels like the season ended,” BT said. “There’s more games to go, and yeah, things can change, but it just feels like the season ended.”

The Giants have very little time to get healthy and move on from Sunday’s loss with the Cowboys waiting on Thanksgiving, fresh off a beatdown of a very strong Vikings team.

“It just feels like the Giants are about to waltz into Dallas and get their brains beaten in,” BT said. “it also feels like, outside of sentiment, there’s nothing enticing Odell Beckham Jr. to sign here.

“It just seems like they’re walking the plank for the world to see on Thursday…it feels like things came to roost on Sunday.”

As for the Jets, BT has never been lower on Zach Wilson than he is right now, and can’t see Gang Green making a playoff push with the level of quarterback play it has gotten in recent weeks.

“There is nothing on tape to support any real belief that Zach Wilson is the guy,” BT said. “Everything is based on hope and conjecture…he just hasn’t had a four-quarter game. The belief in Zach Wilson, for me, is at an all-time low.”
