C-Mac has stood by Brian Daboll since reports emerged about his fiery tendencies that led to his rift with Wink Martindale, and as the reports continue to roll in, he is only more and more dug in on the idea that Daboll is looking better as the man running the show.
“I can’t help but just rally around this head coach. The more I think about it, this is a good thing for the Giants,” C-Mac said. “I think we’ve learned a lot about the coach, how he’s actually viewed inside the organization, and what they should do moving forward.
“It should help Daboll and Schoen do the right thing.”
What is the right thing for the Giants? For C-Mac, it means Daboll running the show and drafting his own quarterback to develop like he did with Josh Allen in Buffalo.
“Ultimately, he’s learned the most important thing, and that is, it’s gotta be his show,” C-Mac said. “This is his football team, and things are gonna be done his way.
“His way and Schoen’s way is to develop a young quarterback.”
