After watching the Cowboys get throttled by the Packers on Sunday, C-Mac sat back and watched another Giants divisional rival get their doors blown off on Monday, as the Eagles completed an unprecedented collapse by losing in blowout fashion to the Buccaneers.
And he enjoyed every second of it.
“I don’t care that this is petty,” C-Mac said. “I don’t care that I’m revelling in the misery of others.
“The idea that both of our enemies…especially the Eagles, who I despise in every way, shape or form…The Eagles have fallen apart, and absolutely embarrassed themselves. Back to back nights, it was almost surreal, and you felt it early on.”
Sure, the Giants are home and didn’t even make the playoffs, and the Eagles could come back next year and sweep Big Blue again in the regular season, but for one 24-hour span, it was fun to watch their rivals crumble.
“Not only did they lose to a team led by Todd Bowles and Baker Mayfield,” C-Mac said. “But those are the two that stuck it to them!”
