The Giants’ improbable season lives on after Saturday’s upset win over the Vikings, and now, focus shifts to the rival Eagles, who await in the divisional round with an NFC title spot on the line.

While many have praised Big Blue and first-year head coach Brian Daboll for getting the Giants this far, the team doesn’t have any interest in talking about its current success. Some may have already begun to write their eulogy with the NFC-best Eagles on deck, but New York believes there is still plenty of work to be done.

“We certainly feel like we’ve played well to this point, but by no means are we satisfied by just getting here,” Daniel Jones said. “There's a lot of work to do for us, and we're excited to do it. That’s been the approach this week. Guys came in ready to work and ready to after it.

“We’ve got a lot of work still left to do.”

Nobody expected the Giants to end their playoff drought this season, let alone win their first playoff game since stunning Tom Brady and the Patriots a second time to become Super Bowl champs over a decade ago. But Jones and the Giants are making it clear that their own expectations differ from those of everyone else, and they will head into Philly expecting to get a win.

“It’s a great opportunity for us, to still be playing,” Jones said. “This is where you want to be, playing these big games. It's an awesome opportunity for us. But as far as our approach and our preparation, it’s going to be consistent with what we’ve done all year. We know that’s the way we’re going to prepare to play our best on Saturday.”
