The Giants and star defensive lineman Leonard Williams finally have a deal.

The two sides agreed to a three-year deal for $63 million, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. The deal includes $45 million in guaranteed money.

The Giants franhcise tagged Williams exactly one week ago, but have expressed a desire to retain the 26-year-old long term.

Williams, a former Jet, made 12 starts last season and appeared in all 16 games, recording a career-high 11.5 sacks. His deal gives him security beyond next season, while it helps the Giants financially, as New York is up against the salary cap.

The Giants recently watched defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson sign with the Vikings, making retaining Williams even more important.
