Tiki Barber on Giants schedule: 'They can get to Thanksgiving and feel good about their playoff chances'

The Giants’ entire 2022 schedule was leaked hours before the NFL’s release special, and Tiki Barber sees an opportunity for Big Blue to capitalize on a midseason stretch that can put them in the hunt heading into Thanksgiving.

“I kind of like this,” Tiki said during Thursday’s show as Pete Hoffman read off the leaked schedule. “I don’t mind this schedule. It feels good.”

New York meets Green Bay in London in Week 5, then faces Jacksonville, Seattle, Houston, and Detroit over the following six weeks, with a bye week in between. It is a soft part of the schedule that aided in the Giants having the lowest opponent winning percentage in the league on their schedule based on last season’s records, and is a chance to thrust themselves in a playoff race before visiting Dallas on Thanksgiving.

“They can get to Thanksgiving and feel really good about their playoff chances,” Tiki said. “Then they gotta earn it with four division games…also Minnesota and Indy.”
