Some Giants players got into it during a “heated” altercation at training camp on Saturday.
According to multiple accounts from reporters covering the training camp session, Shane Lemieux wasn’t too happy with something that Dexter Lawrence did, and ran over and tackled his teammate, before Leonard Williams and other teammates rushed over and sent Lemieux to the ground himself.

“I can’t even remember, I blacked out,’’ Lemieux told the New York Post as to what he may have done to spark the scuffle. “I just remember something happened and I was laying on the ground and there were five people on top of me, that’s all I remember.
“It’s just heated, man. People were tired, competing. Stuff happens. The O-line and the D-line, we’re interfaces. I feel like if you get in someone’s face for so long, it’s like, ‘OK, it’s enough.’”
But Lemieux also told The Post that the incident is already forgotten.
“It stays on the field,’’ Lemieux said. “Even if we have a team period and then we go off to the side, it’s ‘What’s up guys? What are you seeing here?’ We work with each other because at the end of the day we’re a team. Right now it’s hard because it’s training camp, but we’re a team.”
