Giants fans are holding out hope that Kenny Golladay will be heading to East Rutherford to bolster the receiving core, but the team could also be looking to make some upgrades on the defensive side.
Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Giants have a visit scheduled with cornerback Adoree’ Jackson, a former first round pick who has spent the past four seasons with the Titans.
Jackson was limited to just three games last season due to a knee injury, and could be seeking a one-year deal to try and reset and boost his value. His best season came back in 2018, when he recorded two interceptions, two fumble recoveries and 67 solo tackles. He still hasn’t topped his 17 passes defended as a rookie in 2017.
Jackson also has spent time on special teams in previous seasons, returning 34 punts and 25 kicks as a rookie, but those numbers dropped to three and two, respectively, by 2019.
Adoree' Jackson's deep coverage numbers since entering the league are absurd.

Jackson on passes 20+ yards downfield since 2017:
51 targets
14 receptions allowed
18 forced incompletions (2nd most in NFL)
Jackson was due to make $10 million in 2021 before he was released by the Titans.
