According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, punter Jamie Gillan is set to sign a two-year extension, and ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports that Big Blue is going to re-sign wide receiver Sterling Shepard to a one-year deal.

Gillan, 25, averaged 46.8 yards per punt last season, his first with the Giants after three years in Cleveland. Per Pelissero, his deal is worth $4 million with an additional $1 million in potential incentives.

Shepard, 30, has been besieged by injuries the last two seasons, suffering a torn Achilles late in 2021 and then a torn ACL against Dallas on Sept. 26 that cost him the rest of the season. The former second-round pick has spent all seven of his seasons with Big Blue, making 362 catches for 4,038 yards and 22 touchdowns in 75 games.
