Boomer and Gio were live airing their show from Las Vegas when Gio spotted Saquon Barkley walking by.

Gio quickly offered Al Dukes a chance to redeem himself for Tuesday’s hysterical Randy Moss mix-up, and told Al to chase down the Giants running back and see if he would come on the show to talk football.

Al came back empty handed, though it wasn’t his fault this time.

“He 100 percent wanted to come on,” Al said. “He says ‘Hold on, I have to call my manager.’ He goes, ‘Hey, I was just walking by the Boomer show, I want to go on.’ The guy goes, ‘Absolutely not.’ He had it on speakerphone.

“He goes, ‘Absolutely not. Do not go on.’”

Boomer and Gio got a kick out of Barkley’s agent emphatically shooting down the idea of talking with them, though Gio couldn’t understand why. Sure, there are questions about his future in New York, but that is something that Barkley has already addressed multiple times, including after the season was over.

Nevertheless, Barkley had to decline despite wanting to come on.

“There was really no specifics,” Al said. “Just ‘Please, do not do that.’”
