Saquon Barkley has reportedly signed with the Eagles, as the lifelong Giant will join a hated rival on a three-year deal.
The Evan and Tiki crew reacted live to the breaking news on the air, and Tiki, after warning Barkley that his New York legacy would be ruined if he signed with Philly, didn’t hold back on the fellow running back.
“He’s dead to us now. You’re dead to us, Saquon,” Tiki said. “Good luck, you’re dead to me.”
Morash was in more of a celebratory mood, as he was ready for the Giants to move on from Barkley in the first place, and thinks the contract will come back to bite the Eagles.
“Philly, enjoy the nine games he’ll play next year,” Morash said. “See ya Saquon, enjoy those overrated cheesesteaks.”
As for Evan, he maintains that Joe Schoen made a mistake by not trading Barkley during the season, and by not placing the franchise tag on him for a second time. Instead, Barkley leaves for nothing.
“I think the Giants effed this up on so many levels,” Evan said. “Take a phone call. We don’t know what a team would have offered.”
