Brett from Long Island called Sal Licata to defend Dan Quinn last week and got yelled at and hung up on...so he tried again on Tuesday, and this time, calling in to Tiki & Tierney, Brett thanked BT for defending his thoughts.
That wasn't the real reason for Brett's call, though; no, this visit was to thank Tiki for a tremendous touchdown run in a Sunday Night game way back when against the Cowboys that gave Brett a break-even betting weekend?
Thanks to producer Pete Hoffman, Tiki figured out that the game was likely January 2, 2005, a 28-24 Giants win over the Cowboys. A nice story, but also a reminder that afternoon host Craig Carton always tries to instill: if you can't gamble responsibly, there are resources to help.
