Some in Winnipeg really want Barry Trotz to come home.
A brewing company in the area has offered Trotz, who was born and raised just hours from Winnipeg, free beer for life if he were to become the next head coach of the Winnipeg Jets, who are in the market for a head coach after Paul Maurice resigned in the middle of last season.

Little Brown Jug Brewing Company is making the push for Trotz, who was not brought back to the Islanders after missing the playoffs following back-to-back trips to the Eastern Conference Final, a move by Lou Lamoriello that was widely criticized by the New York fanbase.
The brewing company is also pledging to brew Trotz a beer of his choice if he comes home.
Trotz has a Stanley Cup title to his name from his time with the Capitals, and will be a hot name on the coaching ranks this offseason, as the Flyers are also in the market for a new presence behind the bench.
