According to David Morehouse, Penguins President and CEO, the organization looks to have a full house at PPG Paints Arena in time for Game Five (if necessary) of the first round of the Pens series against the Islanders.

Speaking on the Hometown Roofing Pomp & Poni Podcast powered by Bowser Chevy Monroeville, Morehouse said things are changing every minute.

Around 9,000 people will be able to attend Game Two with the Penguins operating at 50 percent capacity.

“We’re looking to try to go to 100 percent by Game Five,” said Morehouse.

He adds that that staff has been on calls with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the NHL, the two governing bodies that could grant full capacity.

Morehouse adds it’s unlikely that Game Two will be able to ramp up to 100 percent capacity if things change, given the short amount of time they will have.
