Several Jets players have voiced their excitement over adding potential pieces like Aaron Rodgers and Odell Beckham Jr., but one player may have expressed disinterest in a potential addition.

Rookie running back Breece Hall, who is still recovering from an ACL tear, seemed to address the rumors that Gang Green was one of three teams considered finalists to add Ezekiel Elliot in a since-deleted tweet that drew plenty of interest.

“I think we good over here,” Hall tweeted, just a half hour after ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported that New York, along with the Eagles and Bengals, were among Elliot’s list of top teams to join after being released by the Cowboys. Hall then tagged fellow Jets running back Michael Carter, asking what he thought, but the tweet was deleted.

Hall had shown plenty of promise as a rookie last season for the Jets, logging 463 yards before suffering his ACL injury in Week 7 against the Broncos.

Perhaps Hall didn’t like the idea of competing for carries with a former star like Elliot?
