Robert Saleh responded to Aaron Rodgers’ criticism of his teammates barking at each other on the sidelines during Sunday’s loss to the Patriots, and chalked it up to “young kids” being, well, young kids.
BT and Sal were fuming at that response.
“He’s enabling again! What is wrong with this guy?” Sal said. “Just say, ‘You know what, Aaron is right, it’s something I should have said internally, and this team is in need of a wakeup call.’ Instead, he says what he said is right, but is trying to sugarcoat it. What is he doing? If you needed any more confirmation that he ain’t it, this is it. Enough.
“Rodgers gave him a chance, on a tee, to say something meaningful. He said Rodgers was right, and then he backed off of it, and said it’s just a bunch of young kids with their frustrations. No, you’re missing the point!”
BT, who has said he doesn’t believe Saleh is a capable head coach, can only shake his head at what the culture of the team has seemingly become.
“I just thought this was gonna be a better culture,” BT said. “It’s actually getting worse from his first year. Last year, it was the Mike White stuff, and this year, guys feel like they can say anything they want with a head coach.”
