Ticket sales for the Jets/Chiefs game have reportedly soared, with one caller telling BT and Sal that he was able to dump his tickets with ease because of the heightened interest in Taylor Swift’s expected attendance.

So, while the game is expected to be a rout thanks to the absence of Aaron Rodgers, tickets are still in high demand due to the pop star’s rumored relationship with Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce, which reached a fever pitch last weekend when Swift watched Kelce at Arrowhead from a box with his family.

For BT and Sal, they are having trouble comprehending why anyone would pay jacked-up prices for tickets to a game in which they likely won’t even get to see Swift.

“What do these idiots, think, she’s gonna jump down to the 50-yard line at halftime and start busting out songs?” BT said. “What do they think she’s gonna do? Jesus, this is pathetic.

“I’m still trying to wrap my mind around people paying more money to get into a building to be in the same vicinity as someone they admire...I can understand if you want to be in the general vicinity of the pope or some revered president…I’m not even knocking it. I’m just wondering what it does for you…people losing their minds in this world.”

Sal expects that fans of Swift would have a better view from their couch, as the TV broadcast will likely be constantly cutting to shots of Swift watching the game, and those in the stands will barely be able to see in whatever suite she’ll be watching from.

“I can see that from home. What, you want to say you’re in the same building as Taylor Swift?” Sal said. “Who gives a crap?”
