Sal places the bulk of the blame on Joe Douglas when it comes to the current state of the Jets, but BT has his eyes on the head coach, especially after the comments he has made in the last two days.
“The Jets right now are an organizational mess, from the owner to the GM to the head coach,” BT said. “Does it strike anyone else as crazy that the Jets are still in a playoff race, and there seems to be chaos? To me, it comes from the head coach.
“This week has been about the disorganization of the Jets, and it’s coming from the head coach. The coach is making it worse.”
Saleh opened eyes when he “pleaded the fifth” when asked about sticking with Zach Wilson and not giving Trevor Siemian a chance, then declared that the organization is “on the same page” when it comes to Wilson. That did little to inspire any hope in BT.
“The dysfunction I have felt this week, that’s on Saleh,” BT said. “If you’re the coach, the leader of this team, you gotta be better. He’s had an awful week.”
