After an “informal” meeting with Odell Beckham Jr. and the Jets on Tuesday, Craig Carton says the former Giants star is a lock to return to New York.
“Odell Beckham is a New York Jet. Get used to that,” Craig said. “That deal is done, they just have to get the paperwork done on it.”
Beckham remains a free agent, and reportedly has the endorsement of Aaron Rodgers, who is still the Jets’ big fish of the offseason. They have already added former Rodgers teammate Allen Lazard, so why not satisfy another one of his asks?
Craig says that’s exactly what the Jets will do, and Beckham is going to wind up with Gang Green.
“It’s over. It’s a wrap,” Craig said. “Deal is done. You’ll hear rumors leak out tomorrow that the Jets have a multi-year deal done with Odell Beckham Jr.”
