Evan says Robert Saleh wrote his own “death sentence” as Jets head coach after doubling down on his Zach Wilson support on Monday, and added that Gang Green did not lose on Sunday because of Wilson’s play.
“This guy is done. This guy is so done in this town,” Evan said. “This guy can’t coach here anymore. Everything is fake and not real, yet he is repeating crap that is fake and not real. You didn’t lose because of the quarterback? What?? Just because you say things, doesn’t mean it’s true. What if I came on the air and said I dated Carrie Underwood? I didn’t. Just because I say it, doesn’t mean it’s true.”
Evan couldn’t believe his ears when Saleh said Wilson has shown improvements, because it is so apparent to him and many other Jets fans that the former No. 2 overall pick is a bust.
“Here’s what he said to Jets fans: ‘Too bad, suck it up, Zach’s the guy,’” Evan said. “Here’s what he said to Garrett Wilson, whose stats are going to be completely destroyed because he has incompetence at quarterback and maybe even at offensive coordinator: ‘Too bad.’
“I have seen many clueless head coaches and managers in this town. This one might take the cake.”
