Evan tried to keep his voice down as not to blow it in the beginning of Monday’s show, but as he began his rant about Zach Wilson, Robert Saleh, and the Jets, he was yelling within minutes.
“The quarterback absolutely sucks, we all know that,” Evan said. “And this head coach continues to go down with the worst quarterback in the league as this ship sinks yet again. This head coach continues to BS us after these games and tell us things that are not true.
“As a Jet fan, we should all be disgusted…we need to ask a question to this head coach: ‘What more do you need to see before you realize what every sane human being who watches football knows?’ Zach Wilson is terrible, cannot play the position, and before the ship completely sinks, you’ve got to do something. Something!”
Evan played clips of Saleh praising Wilson’s improved pocket presence and decision making, then immediately called him out for trying to tell us the quarterback has gotten better at aspects of the game that he clearly has not improved on after watching Sunday’s game.
“That’s not true. That’s either a lie, or you don’t know football,” Evan said. “You can’t sit there after a football game and tell us this. I feel bad using the word ‘lie,’ but what else am I supposed to call it?”
