The Titans fired head coach Mike Vrabel on Tuesday, which shocked many in the NFL world given Vrabel’s body of work and his ability to keep Tennessee relatively competitive this season despite a wretched roster.

Keith was among those surprised, but mainly is frustrated that the Jets are going to sit back and let Vrabel and other prime head coaching candidates sign elsewhere while they stick with Robert Saleh.

“There are so many more names out there that are gonna be available as head coaches in 2024,” Keith said. “I can’t get the thought out of my mind that the Jets took the green pill that is Aaron Rodgers.”

Bill Belichick could be available, as well as Jim Harbaugh. Yet, the Jets will stick with a head coach that once again finished with double-digit losses, and Keith can’t believe it.

“You have the worst coach in the NFL record wise, body language wise, press conference wise,” Keith said. “And you can’t get rid of him right now to pick up one of these great head coaches.”
