As details continue to emerge about the upcoming NFL schedule, the Jets have learned of two key matchups, including when they will face the Giants.
The league announced Thursday morning that Gang Green will open its season in primetime, taking on the divisional rival Bills on Monday Night Football. So, Aaron Rodgers’ Jets debut will come against Josh Allen and company, in front of Rodgers’ new home fans at MetLife Stadium.
Fast forward to Week 8, when the Jets will reportedly meet Big Blue at MetLife on Sunday, Oct. 29, according to the New York Post. This will be the first regular season bout between the two New York teams since 2019, when the Jets beat the Giants 31-24.
The game will also be a rematch for Rodgers and Daniel Jones, who faced off last season when the Giants battled the Packers in London, a game where Jones and Big Blue came out on top.
