Jets defensive end Vinny Curry has signed back on with the team after missing all of last season with a blood disorder, the team announced on Wednesday.

Curry, 33, had signed with the team last year but was placed on the non-football injury list in August as he struggled with complications from blood clots and a spleen removal.

Curry was released before the end of last season, but is looking to make his Jets debut in 2022, more than a year after initially signing with the team.

The nine-year NFL veteran spent nearly his entire career with the Eagles before signing with the Jets last year. He played 12 games with Tampa Bay in 2018, but his other 111 games were played with Philadelphia. He has 32.5 career sacks, including 3.0 in his last season in 2020, when he played in 11 games and made three starts.
