The Jets surprised with their first-round pick, but young Kyle Stickles, who announced the pick, earns a universal draft grade of an A+.
As part of the NFL’s partnership with the Make-A-Wish foundation, Stickles was introduced on stage by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, and Stickles, who survived bone cancer, stole she show when he took the podium.
After pumping up the crowd as he was being introduced, Stickles led a ‘J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets Jets!’ chant as he announced the selection of Iowa State edge rusher Will McDonald as the 15th overall pick.
Stickles pumped up the crowd yet again after revealing the pick, and he became quite the hit on social media for his enthusiasm and charisma.
