Sal: We are witnessing the unraveling of this Jets regime

After watching Robert Saleh’s press conference on Monday, where he declined to go into feelings he may have had before drafting Zach Wilson, Sal says it is signaling the beginning of this Gang Green regime coming undone.

“We are in the midst, an all-too-familiar spot, of yet again, the unraveling of the New York Jets,” Sal said.

“It was the first time there was really a divide between the head coach and general manager, and maybe the general manager and owner…he was insinuating that maybe he wasn’t on board with the Zach Wilson plan.”

Sal says Saleh’s comments suggest that he and the front office aren’t in lockstep as publicly portrayed, at least when it came to the handling of Wilson, and he expects there to only be further fractures within this group of Saleh, Joe Douglas, and Woody Johnson.

“This is the beginning of the unraveling of the New York Jets,” Sal said. “This mess is on Joe Douglas, not Robert Saleh…Joe Douglas is the one who failed his coach, failed his quarterback, and failed the organization.”
