Sal doesn’t like the Knicks matching up with the Heat or Sixers in the first round, but BT isn’t sweating it at all.
In fact, BT believes New York is going to the second round for a second straight season, regardless of who comes out of the Play-In.
“They will beat Miami, and they will beat the Sixers. Bring ‘em on,” BT said. “You can book this. Knicks are going to round two. Book it.
“If the Knicks play the way they have all year, they are going to advance…the Knicks don’t need to overachieve. They just need to keep achieving what they’ve achieved so far, and they’ll win.”
Many are worried about playing the red-hot Sixers with a healthy Joel Embiid, but BT doesn’t share those concerns, especially if Mitchell Robinson is healthy and able to guard Embiid.
“I don’t think as highly as Philly as a lot of people do,” BT said. “I think the Knicks have answers for [Embiid] and their great players.”
