BT declared at the start of Wednesday's show that New York will have a champion in the next two years, citing several teams that have a foundation for success in the not-too-distant future.
When Sal asked which team was the closest to a title if he had to pick, BT didn't hesitate.
"I think the Knicks are going to make a massive, trade. The Knicks," BT said. "It's coming, midseason. It's coming. This is what they built for, Sal. Knicks.
"They've got an All-Star, and he's sometimes a superstar like you can do it in the postseason. They've got depth, and you get another superstar next to him, or a star, the Knicks are right there."
Asked who could potentially join the Knicks and be that star the team has craved for years, BT pointed to one that was nearly a Knick last summer.
"Donovan Mitchell is not re-signing with the Cavaliers," BT said.
