No Julius Randle, no OG Anunoby, no problem for the Knicks, who blew out the lowly Jazz at MSG on Tuesday night for their eighth straight win.
The vibes in New York are immaculate at the moment for a Knicks team that just went 14-2 in the month of January, and C-Mac says the team is looking like world beaters right now.
"Every night, another game, another blowout," C-Mac said. "It doesn't matter who they're playing…the Knicks, without Randle and OG, smack around the Utah Jazz. DiVincenzo has taken it upon himself to make up for the lack of scoring almost single-handedly.
"This team right now is playing at such a level, that it doesn't matter who they're without, who they're playing. On a nightly basis, if the Knicks are playing basketball…even without OG the last two games, they are a different team defensively. It doesn't matter who has to step up."
C-Mac says morale is so high around the team, that the Knicks are taking on the feel in the city that has not been felt since the last glory days of the franchise.
"Our love for Jalen Brunson and this team is starting to feel like the love for Patrick Ewing and those 90s Knicks," C-Mac said. "That's how quickly we can watch this team take over the city."
