C-Mac rips 76ers for whining after 'choking' away game two to Knicks

After the Sixers choked away game two in incredible fashion, Joel Embiid sounded off on the lack of foul calls down the stretch, while Nick Nurse declared that he should have been granted a timeout on the possession that led to the Knicks drilling the game-winning 3-pointer.

C-Mac ripped the Sixers for how they handled the game two loss, seemingly taking all of the blame away from themselves.

“How about some accountability? How about some blame for blowing the game?” C-Mac said. “What happened there that is unacceptable? Did someone get slapped in the face and I was unaware of it?

“Nick Nurse has absolutely no right to complain that he called a timeout…I hope the Knicks take that personally, that Jalen Brunson takes that personally. That Embiid has the balls to come off the court after choking the game away to go down 0-2, and say they are the better team, which they are not.”

Embiid declared after the game that the Sixers are still going to win the series, to which C-Mac could only laugh.

“You’re known for two things: The Process, and gagging away playoff series,” C-Mac said. “But OK, you’re gonna win.”
