Keith: New York City is about to become a Knicks town

As the football season ends in New York, and the biggest MLB offseason moves have been made, Keith says it is time to turn attention to the hardwood, where the Knicks are set to take over the town.

"I am a Nets fan…but I understand what's going on in New York with the basketball team in Manhattan," Keith said. "If there ever was a time, if there ever was a team, it's right now. It's the Knicks' time."

The Knicks have won five in a row, have jumped to the fourth seed in the crowded Eastern Conference, and are looking like a completely different team with the acquisition of OG Anuoby. And Keith says, with the trade deadline coming up next month, it can get even better at MSG.

"They have a month to add one more piece or make another move or trade to shore up this team for a run to the Eastern Conference Final," Keith said. "They're just getting used to playing basketball together.

"We need to turn the page. Seasons change. Football is over. The NFL season for New York is over."
