Multiple Knicks players had some words for the officials after Wednesday night's loss to the Heat, according to Steve Popper of Newsday, and some weren't done venting their frustration after retreating to the visitors' locker room.
Josh Hart took to Twitter to call out the officiating, quote tweeting a video clip of Jimmy Butler appearing to travel but not being called in a crucial possession down the stretch. Hart's message: 'In a two possession game under a minute…"
Meanwhile, Julius Randle had more to say in the locker room.
"I mean, anytime I take that much contact and I shoot one free throw for the game that pretty much tells the story," Randle said, via Popper.
Free throws were basically even for the game, as the Heat shot 26 and the Knicks 25. But New York took exception to some calls down the stretch, but ultimately, the defense allowing Miami to shoot 57 percent from downtown and from the floor overall led to the loss.
