Knicks allow most 3-pointers in a game in franchise history, allow Celtics to set their own record

The Celtics marched into Madison Square Garden on Saturday night and held their own 3-point party, at the expense of the seemingly helpless Knicks.

Boston sank a franchise record 27 triples, also marking the most New York has ever given up in a single game in its history (the previous record was 26), as the Celtics grabbed a 133-118 win to spoil the Knicks' bid for a second win in as many nights.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown each buried six 3-pointers, helping Boston sink the most triples than any other team so far this season. Sam Hauser added five off the bench on just eight attempts.

The Celtics shot 52.9 percent from downtown on 51 attempts.
