The Knicks' recent losing ways seem to be getting into the head of Julius Randle.
The resurgent All-Star took another step back on Thursday night, getting hit with a technical foul for the third straight game, all of which have come in Knicks losses. This time, after being issued the technical, Randle had to be held back from the referee by teammate Immanuel Quickley, leading to Randle getting into Quickley's face before the two finally went into the locker room for halftime.
Randle has made it a point this season to keep his composure, especially with the officiating, but he has looked more like last season's self in recent games, arguing with officials and now even with his own teammates who are trying to avoid losing their star in pivotal games.
New York will need Randle at his best down the stretch, as this recent skid suddenly has the Knicks fighting to avoid the play-in tournament. Fortunately, Randle has the weekend to cool down before taking on the lowly Rockets on Monday.
