The Knicks are on one of their best stretches of the season, riding a three-game winning streak after a dramatic victory over the Hawks on Monday night, but the team is about to have an unexpected break.

The NBA announced on Tuesday morning that the Spurs’ next three games will be postponed due to four positive COVID-19 tests by San Antonio players, including Saturday afternoon’s game at MSG. The Knicks and Spurs were scheduled to tip off at 1 p.m.

In addition, the Hornets’ next two games have been postponed for contact tracing purposes after Charlotte visited San Antonio on Sunday.

The Knicks travel to Orlando to face the Magic on Wednesday night at 7 p.m., but due to Saturday’s postponement, the team will now have three days off following that road tilt before hosting the Timberwolves on Sunday, also at 7 p.m.

The Knicks and Spurs are next scheduled to square off on March 2, one day after San Antonio is slated to welcome the Nets.
