As the Mets reportedly aren't seeking external additions at DH because of the asking prices, BT says the fanbase should be furious with ownership for their drastic change in spending habits.
"I would be as angry at my team - outside of the Jets - as any other team in this city," BT said.
"What the Met fan was sold…to pivot to this point is unacceptable.
The Mets are two weeks away from going down to Port St. Lucie with a D+/C- rotation, no DH, a massive hold at third base, questions everywhere, in maybe the best division in baseball."
BT says Cohen isn't operating like he should be after an epically disappointing 2023 campaign, and Met fans should make it known that this level of inactivity is unacceptable.
"You need a stick, and this guy is hibernating," BT said. "Where is Steve Cohen's flex?"
