Three scoreless innings with two hits, six strikeouts, and 32 of 38 pitches thrown for strikes.
That was Carlos Carrasco's line from his third rehab start, a three-inning outing for Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday, and after that, Mets manager Luis Rojas said Cookie's next outing could come in the majors.
"There's a chance he makes a start with us next time," Rojas said after the Mets' win over Toronto on Sunday. "There's the chance he makes another one [in Triple-A], but we got to talk about it."

The Mets had quite a few starting pitchers listed as "need" as of Sunday morning, with Jacob deGrom still on the injured list and other issues plaguing the rotation. Newly-acquired Rich Hill filled Sunday's gap, but the Mets will need a starter for Game 2 of Monday's doubleheader with the Braves, and have a TBD listed for Tuesday as well.
The Mets could recall Nick Tropeano from the Minors for one of those starts, likely the doubleheader, but he and relievers Geoff Hartlieb and Roel Ramirez are the only healthy pitchers on the 40-man roster not in the Majors, so the Mets' depth is thin (barring another re-signing of Jerad Eickhoff).
Thankfully, for Rojas, he "heard really good things" about Carrasco's outing, and even a shorter start may benefit the Mets when they need a starter next on Sunday.
"His stuff was working really well, and it's encouraging to see him go the three ups like we wanted him to in his last start and he couldn't," Rojas said. "He just went out there and did what he had to do."
The Mets could get a double reinforcement soon, too, as Jacob deGrom had "no complaints" after throwing off a mound on Sunday, and he could go out on a rehab assignment as soon as later this week.
