Any Mets fans planning on attending Tuesday night's game against the Dodgers should be hoping for a save situation for New York.
The team announced Wednesday that on Aug. 30, Timmy Trumpet will be in attendance at Citi Field to throw out the first pitch, and will stick around through the end of the game just in case Edwin Diaz is called upon out of the bullpen.
If that's the case, Timmy Trumpet will perform "Narco" live as Diaz emerges from beyond the outfield wall, giving fans a live performance of the song that has become synonymous with Diaz's dominant season, and the source of a viral entrance video that followed Diaz from the bullpen to the mound.
Fans have raved about the atmosphere at Citi Field when Diaz jogs in, but if he is called upon on Tuesday, there will likely be even more juice, especially against the top team in the National League.
