Jake Reed, weeks after being designated for assignment by the Mets, was screaming to the skies above in celebration on Tuesday night after locking down his first career save, coming against his former team at Citi Field.
Sal couldn't help but roll his eyes.
"Get lost, you clown," Sal said. "It's my job to watch the Mets, I'm a Met fan, I've never even heard of you. I don't even remember Jake Reed. Get lost."
Reed was emotional after securing a 4-3 win for the Dodgers, saying it was a "full circle" moment for the 29-year-old, but that only angered Sal even more.
"The Dodgers cut you first, you clown!" Sal yelled. "Give me a break!"
