The Mets will have another night to celebrate their improbable comeback win over the Phillies, as Friday night’s game has been postponed due to rain in the forecast.
The Phillies announced the postponement on Friday afternoon, and announced that the game would be made up as part of a split-admission doubleheader on Saturday, Aug. 20, as part of a split-admission doubleheader. The originally-scheduled game that day will remain with a 7:15 start time.
Max Scherzer was scheduled to start for the Mets on Friday.
New York and Philadelphia will continue its series Saturday at 4:05 p.m.
