Security in Oakland makes Mets fan take down Kodai Senga ghost fork signs

One Mets fan in Oakland showed love for Kodai Senga by hanging up ghost signs to commemorate each of Senga's strikeouts, but security at Oakland Coliseum spoiled the fun.

Security came over and tore down the four signs that were hanging up in the fourth inning, while the Mets fan could only watch. Still, he got to enjoy a blowout win in which the Mets scored 17 runs while drawing a franchise-record 17 walks against the hapless A's.

The SNY broadcast booth didn't think very highly of the decision either, as they made clear when cameras caught the signs being taken down.

"Oh, come on guys," Gary Cohen said. "It's all in fun."

Ron Darling summed it up perfectly.

"There's not enough people here to get angry at anyone," Darling said.
