After listening to Steve Cohen's comments on Sunday, Sal says it is already time to put the crown back on the Mets owner's head.
Sal's belief in King Cohen is all the way back after hearing the owner praise where the organization is moving forward, despite lower expectations in 2024.
"Everything about Steve Cohen, to me, shows that he deserves that crown on top of his head," Sal said. "The results have to be there, I get that…but King Cohen is back! Think about the money he invests in the organization, buying prospects instead of just selling off contracts. Sticking with the plan…he's operating like a king, and a king does not listen to the peasants."
Sal says Cohen has shown the right combination of "guts," and has the "smarts" with David Stearns, and add in the resources that Cohen has in terms of wealth, and you have an organization that has a bright future of sustained success.
"It's happening now," Sal said. "But you'll see the rewards and results start to show next year."
